KARAMAH is an international non-profit organization based in Washington, DC that works for human rights, civil rights, and women's rights from within the Islamic tradition. We mostly do educational events - like lectures and town halls - but we also have occasional outings and other fun things that you can take part in.

Capital Pride is the annual LGBTA Pride celebration in our nation’s capital. The first two weeks of June are full of fun, educational, cultural, and entertaining events, including the Pride Parade and the Pennsylvania Avenue Festival. We also have monthly events to celebrate Pride throughout the year. All are welcome.
