  Ofer\, of the NYCLU\, will provide an in-depth lobby training as part of t
 he NYCLU's continuing Civil Liberties Discussion Series.  This is in prepar
 ation for these lobby visits during the membership conference\, but useful 
 for the rest of your life!\nAnd don't forget to register for the 2008 Membe

 we're having it in conjunction with a great discussion group that the NYCLU
  just started in September.  I went to the first one and it was great: grea
 t people from NYCLU\, great attendees\, and a great topic.  I instantly kne
 w it would be a great central activity for our renewed NYC Civil Rights & C
 ivil Liberties Meetup upon which we can expand with other events and activi
